Instagram, the insanely popular photo-sharing network, just launched their app for Android users last week, but that wasn’t all they had up their sleeve. Today they tweeted that they have been acquired by Facebook. The Seattle PI is reporting that Facebook snapped them up by paying $1 billion for the company (which was founded by two guys in their spare time). Talk about a huge payday!
