Did you know that Washington State has the highest rate of breast cancer in the country? Every week, 100 women in our state are diagnosed with the disease. Early breast cancer detection can mean a 99% chance of surviving breast cancer. Doesn’t every woman deserve that chance? Yet, right now nearly 1,000 women are on a waitlist for a mammogram because they need financial help to pay for it, and the money just isn’t there.  The list is just going to continue to grow, unless someone does something about it. That someone is us. This is why Click 98.9 is partnering with Komen Puget Sound to raise $150,000 in 30 days.
