#411 - Pack your knives and if you like pina coladas...go have one TODAY!

Welcome to #411...no need to enter a prompt for further instructions.  You've come to the right place to get a daily round-up of some of the interesting stuff going on in the world.  So here's the #411 for today...

1). Book your stateroom NOW!  It’s time to pack your knives and go…on the “Top Chef” theme cruise!!!  I’m hyperventilating.  Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons will be on-board, as will Top Chef and Top Chef Masters contestants from the past. Sorry fans, no Padma though.

2). Celebrity birthday round-up time!  Steve Carrell turns 50 and James Cameron celebrates his 58^th.  Also, Madonna turns 54 today.  Here’s something interesting about Madonna: Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion and Mark Wahlberg are distant relatives of Madge’s, according to a recent ancestry study. 

3). Cheers!  Today is National Rum Day.  CUE:  if you like Pina Coladas…now that song will be stuck in your head all day.  You’re welcome!  But seriously, go drink a pina colada.

4). Sunday, the public is invited to a public memorial service for Kathi Goertzen.  It will begin at 1 p.m. at Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center…doors open at 12:30.

5). Jennifer Aniston is one smart cookie.  Word is, she wants to keep her wedding planning TOP SECRET and she isn’t taking any chances.  SO, she has been feeding fake info to her friends, telling each of the group different lies…that way when she sees them surface in the tabloids she knows which one of her friends is selling her out.
